Green Bay, Wisconsin, January 30, 2010 – The Northeastern Wisconsin Pharmaceutical Travelers Association (NEWPTA) has donated $500 to each of the following organizations in the Northeastern Wisconsin area.  These organizations strive to provide medical care and community assistance to the economically disadvantaged and underserved where their needs are the greatest.  NEWPTA is proud to be a part of the greater northeastern Wisconsin healthcare environment, and will continue to support these and other organizations’ efforts in providing aid to their respective communities.   The recipients are as follows:

ABOUT NEWPTA
The Northeastern Wisconsin Pharmaceutical Travelers Association (NEWPTA) is an organization of pharmaceutical sales representatives that exists to support all healthcare providers to enhance the care of patients. It is also committed to establishing and maintaining professional and ethical standards of conduct for its members.  NEWPTA’s area of coverage primarily encompasses the Hwy 41 corridor from Fond-du-Lac to Marinette across to the Lakeshore.

Mission Statement
The mission of Northeastern Wisconsin Pharmaceutical Travelers Association (NEWPTA) is to promote and foster professional and productive relations between its members and the medical community.  As part of its mission, the Association also supports the efforts of community-based clinics to aid in their caring for patients.  In addition, NEWPTA works with organizations to develop guidelines for representative visits, ensuring that patients and physicians are well served as a result of such interactions.
